A New Chapter in HPG’s Legacy: Honoring Our Past, Embracing Our Future
SPRING HILL, Kan. (January 20, 2025) —
2025 marks an exciting new chapter for HPG as we celebrate a leadership transition rooted in family, legacy, and a shared vision for the future.
After 24 incredible years as HPG’s founder, president, and CEO, Matt Terstriep is stepping back from day-to-day operations and transitioning into a new role as Executive Advisor. His leadership and vision have been the foundation of HPG’s success, and while he will no longer serve as CEO, his strategic guidance will remain invaluable as we navigate new opportunities in the evolving healthcare IT landscape.
“HPG has always been about people: our Associates, our Customers, and the relationships we build together. Like a family, we’ve grown by staying true to our values of trust, hard work, putting others first, and controlling our destiny. This transition reflects our commitment to those principles and ensures that the heart of HPG remains strong.” – Matt Terstriep
We are proud to announce that his son, Chad Terstriep, will take the helm as CEO and Chairman of the Board. Chad has been a part of HPG for 15 years, leading multiple departments, serving as president, and returning in 2024 as Senior Vice President of Strategic Services. Chad’s experience, leadership, and dedication to HPG make him the ideal person to carry forward the company’s mission.
“HPG has always been more than a company, it’s a family. Our mission to deliver exceptional results starts with valuing our people and building meaningful relationships. As we move into this next chapter, I’m excited to carry forward that legacy and continue to serve our customers with the same passion and purpose that have defined us from the start.” – Chad Terstriep
This transition is a continuation of the Terstriep family’s incredible legacy at HPG:
- Scott Terstriep, celebrating 20 years, serves as Regional Vice President of Business Development
- Kyle Terstriep, with 15 years of experience, serves as Senior Resource Development Executive
- Kara Terstriep Gartland, now in her 6th year, serves as Director of Finance,
- Penny Terstriep, the matriarch of the Terstriep family, played a pivotal role in HPG’s development. As the Branding and Event Consultant for 20 years, Penny was instrumental in shaping the company’s foundation and success. She retired three years ago to focus on spending time with her grandchildren and enjoying life, but her contributions remain vital to HPG’s story.
Together, the Terstriep family exemplifies the values and dedication that have shaped HPG into the trusted partner it is today.
As we look to the future, Matt’s new role will focus on strategic initiatives to help HPG explore new service lines and adapt to the ever-evolving professional healthcare IT market. With Chad at the helm and a deeply experienced leadership team, we are confident in our ability to innovate, support our Associates, and deliver exceptional value to our clients.
Please join us in celebrating this exciting transition and the incredible legacy that brought us here. Here’s to the next chapter of HPG!
