Consulting positions within HPG fall into the following areas:

HPG supports the use of Cerner® and Epic solutions across all areas of the product. Our consultants in Application Services typically combine at least five years of EHR software expertise with in-depth healthcare experience to ensure all applications fit into the health systems’ workflow, paving the way for broad clinical, financial and process adoption while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Through expert skills and experience, the Senior Consultant, Application Services acts as an effective, integrated team member assisting in the implementation, support and/or optimization of the customer’s applications. Application skills include design, build, test, troubleshoot, support and train. The consultant will work diligently to achieve project plan completion dates and resolve any issues preventing completion. Travel to the customer site occurs as required, typically on a weekly basis.

Supporting excellence and on-time, on-budget work, the Senior Consultant, Project Management will have PMP certification or equivalent experience, making them well positioned to lead any project and maintain high customer satisfaction. Typically, they will offer at least five years of project management experience with at least one year of EHR software expertise.

HPG Project Management consulting services are provided on a substantially full-time, onsite basis and include the Project Management healthcare information systems application implementation (design, build, test and train), support and optimization. Through expert skills and experience, the Senior Consultant, Project Management acts as an effective, integrated team member in helping clients resolve resource needs with quality HPG expert resources and service-line solutions. The consultant works diligently to achieve project plan milestones and resolve any issues preventing completion.  

Consulting services include Project Planning, Project Management and Program Management. Specific responsibilities of these services include the following and more:

  • Project issue identification, resolution, escalation and regular status reporting
  • Responsibility for all application business systems and services related to the project
  • Execution of the entire project plan and timeline; providing the required management and leadership for achieving project objectives and successful closure
  • Clearly define problems by collecting complete data, establishing facts and drawing logical conclusions to facilitate process transformation where needed

As a team of experts who supplement our customers’ internal IT staff, our Support Center team provides a wide range of services to fully support HPG customers and maintain a high level of satisfaction. Contracts are tailored to fit each customer’s unique needs.

Through expert skills and experience, the Senior Consultant, Support Center acts as an effective, integrated team member assisting in the implementation, support and/or optimization of the customer’s applications. Application skills include design, build, test, troubleshoot, support and train. The consultant must have the ability to work from a Support Center office while also traveling to the customer site as required. Responsibilities include the fulfillment of service-level agreement commitments and resolving any issue preventing successful implementation, support or optimization.

With three years of EHR software experience required and five years preferred, the Senior Consultant, Support Center will offer these core services:
