Matt Terstriep, MBA Founder and Executive Advisor
An accomplished leader with proven success across his 40+ year career in health IT, Matt founded our company in 2002. Having built this company on the vision of delivering stronger performance through expert Oracle Cerner technology integration and workflow optimization, Matt’s leadership continues to drive our culture, purpose and performance every day.
Prior to founding HPG, Matt’s career highlights included sales, marketing and leadership positions at such organizations as Shared Medical Systems (now Cerner), Continental Healthcare Systems (now WellSky), and First Choice Consulting. He has an MBA in healthcare administration from the University of Illinois and is a longstanding member of HIMSS.

Chad Terstriep, MBA Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board
Chad Terstriep serves as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board at HPG, leading the company’s strategic vision, financial oversight, and commitment to delivering exceptional value to both Associates and Customers. Appointed to this role in January 2025, Chad is dedicated to driving HPG’s long-term growth while upholding the company’s strong culture and core values.
A respected leader with nearly two decades at HPG, Chad has been instrumental in shaping the company’s success. Since joining in 2007, he has held key leadership roles, including President, Senior Vice President of Strategic Services, Director of Resource Development, and Resource Development Executive. His leadership has been central to attracting and developing top talent, fostering strong customer partnerships, and expanding HPG’s service capabilities.
Before joining HPG, Chad was a Regional Account Manager at AIM Healthcare Services (now part of UnitedHealthcare), where he worked with major healthcare organizations such as Mayo Clinic, Allina Health, and Hennepin County Medical Center.
Chad holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Kansas and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas.

Andy Flynn, MT, ASCP President
Andy is President of HPG, where he leads the day-to-day operations and drives the organization’s strategic direction. A founding partner and HPG charter member since 2002, Andy has played a pivotal role in the company’s growth and success.
With a career that began as a medical technologist and expanded across three decades into health IT, Andy is fluent in both clinical and technical languages. His ability to translate complex concepts makes him an exceptional communicator across all levels of proficiency. His expertise in Oracle Cerner applications is extensive, having actively participated in over 30 implementations.
Before joining HPG, Andy was a Senior Consultant at Park City Solutions and held multiple roles at Cox Health Systems, including Senior Business Analyst, Negative Certifying Scientist, and General Medical Technologist. He earned his bachelor’s degree in medical technology from Missouri State University.

Randy Bullinger, CPA, CGMA, MBA Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
An HPG charter member and founding partner, Randy has served as our Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since 2002. With more than three decades of leadership experience at the intersection of healthcare and finance, Randy is responsible for HPG’s financial health and human resource investments. Through his unique industry knowledge, broad financial expertise, and extensive compensation/benefit experience, Randy has a keen ability to research, select, manage and maintain vital programs that maximize the experience for all HPG team members, customers, suppliers and benefit programs.
Prior to joining HPG, Randy’s career highlights include leadership roles in finance and administration at First Choice Consulting (now Park City Solutions), Via Christi Senior Services and Healthcare Data Systems. Randy holds an MBA from Wichita State University and bachelor’s degrees in business and accounting from the University of Kansas.

Nancy Ward Senior Vice President, Business Development
Nancy is a proven sales leader with extensive experience driving growth and business development in the highly competitive health IT market. She is responsible for ensuring HPG team members are fully engaged and our customers are receiving the support they need, when they need it. Nancy joined HPG in 2013 and has made numerous contributions to our success in her current role as Senior Vice President of Business Development, as well as her previous positions as Senior Resource Development Executive and Resource Development Director.
Nancy’s health IT and leadership experience in sales, recruiting and business development spans more than three decades. Before joining HPG, Nancy held sales leadership positions at iPractice and Vitera Healthcare Solutions (formerly Sage).

Joe Vanderbeek Senior Vice President, Consulting Services
Since joining HPG in 2005, Joe has contributed to HPG’s success in numerous roles, from Senior Consultant to Support Center Director and his current role as Senior Vice President, Consulting Services. In this role, Joe is responsible for the professional development of our Cerner Consulting Experts and is responsible for the quality and delivery of our services. With a practical approach to business, the highest levels of professionalism and quality standards – plus an unparalleled sense of humor and wit – Joe leads his team to deliver the “details that make the difference” for our customers.
Joe’s health IT career involves more than two decades of hands-on leadership experience. Before joining HPG, he worked at Cerner as a Solution and Technical Consultant, developing extensive expertise in Cerner applications and reporting capabilities. Joe has a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree in Business, Management and Marketing from Park University, as well as a master’s degree in information technology from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University.

Krista Osborn Vice President, Human Resources & Recruiting
Krista Osborn brings extensive senior leadership experience in human resources and people management, with a focus on culture and talent development, employee benefits, retention strategies, and coaching. With over 25 years of experience in the health IT consulting industry, she excels in organizational design, driving efficiencies, and leading teams through all phases of business, from start-ups to acquisitions.
Krista’s unwavering commitment to excellence ensures that HPG attracts and retains top talent in the industry while delivering exceptional service to candidates, associates, and leadership alike. Before joining HPG, Krista held leadership positions including Director of HR at Health Data Specialists, LLC; and First Choice Consulting, Inc. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management from Wichita State University.

John Pearson Chief Technology Officer and Application Services Director
An accomplished health IT professional and leader, John joined HPG in 2007. John is responsible for the professional development of our Application Services and Project Management service lines. In July 2021, John added Chief Technology Officer to his title and oversees our Information Technology team and HPG’s technology infrastructure. Before becoming Application Services Director, he served in numerous capacities, including Senior Consultant, Team Leader, and Support Center Manager. Through an objective, efficient and caring leadership approach, John oversees our excellent team of Cerner Consulting Experts as they deliver the high levels of quality our customers expect.
With a bachelor’s degree in computer science and mathematics from the University of Missouri-Columbia, John’s health IT career spans more than two decades. Prior to joining HPG, he worked at Cerner as a Solution Architect and Software Engineer, building deep expertise in Cerner applications and custom reporting functionalities.

Kara Gartland, CPA Director of Finance
Kara has been an integral part of HPG for over six years, now serving as Director of Finance and previously holding roles such as CRM Business Development Analyst, Marketing Coordinator, and gaining valuable experience in recruiting. These positions allowed her to develop a deep understanding of the company from multiple perspectives.
Her hands-on leadership and financial expertise have been vital to HPG’s success, ensuring consistent support for associates, customers, and suppliers. Kara also oversees the 401K Retirement Plan, providing knowledgeable support and feedback to team members.
A proud graduate of the University of Kansas, Kara holds a Master’s degree in Accounting. Her professional journey includes roles at KPMG, JMW (a boutique tax firm now combined with RubinBrown), tw-Security, and Maple Ranch Properties, each of which has contributed to her well-rounded leadership style and expertise.

Scott Terstriep Regional Senior Vice President
As our Regional Senior Vice President in the Central region, Scott is responsible for developing and strengthening customer relationships. Since joining our company in 2007 as a Senior Account Executive, Scott has always shown great passion and dedication to serving HPG customers and team members as well. With his outstanding ability to build and foster healthy, customer-focused relationships, Scott continually seeks new information about what healthcare organizations need with their EHR and EHR related projects and new ways to connect customers with our premier consulting services.
Scott’s health IT career spans more than two decades, with a proven track record in sales, account management, leadership and business development. Prior to joining HPG, Scott specialized in sales and pharmacy workflow at ScriptPro. He has a bachelor’s degree in Business Communications from the University of Kansas.

Katie Broussard Regional Vice President
Katie, who joined HPG in 2015, manages and develops meaningful customer relationships at the Regional Vice President in the Central/Midwest region of the country. Katie excels at strengthening HPG’s position in her market area by focusing on the unique needs of customers and acting as a trusted advisor.
Katie’s career spans more than 30 years of healthcare IT, sales management, account management, practice management and sales processes activities. Before joining HPG, she worked as Director of Provider Inside Sales at MedeAnalytics and held Senior Account Executive positions at Covisint and Vitera Healthcare Solutions (formerly Sage Software/WebMD).

Jamie McAfee Regional Vice President
Jamie, who joined HPG in 2013, manages and develops customer relationships as our Regional Vice President in the West region of the country. She excels at taking a holistic approach in understanding customer needs to suggest solutions through our consulting services. Jamie’s background as a Solution Architect, combined with her consultative sales approach, enables her to find the best fit for opportunities and engage lasting relationships that offer the highest customer satisfaction.
With a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Northwest Missouri State University and the University of Kansas, Jamie has more than a decade of experience in health IT. Before joining HPG, she was a successful Solution Architect at Oracle Cerner for almost six years, implementing clinical and revenue cycle applications, and was part of more than 50 client sites.

Jamie Moore Regional Vice President
Joining HPG in 2014, Jamie manages and develops customer relationships as the Regional Vice President in the Northeast region of the country. His experience in developing and leading teams, assessing operations and business needs, and providing excellent customer service is key to achieving the desired results for his customers.
With a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from Kennesaw State University, Jamie offers more than a decade of experience in management, leadership, human resources and sales. Prior to joining HPG, Jamie held HR, management and team leadership positions at such firms as Paychex and Target.

Brian Weil Regional Vice President
Brian, who joined HPG in 2007 as a Senior Consultant, now serves as Regional Vice President, managing and strengthening relationships with customers in the Southeast region of the country. Brian’s experience with Oracle Cerner solutions and architecture is key in his understanding of customer needs, assessing resource and solution requirements, and proposing solutions to improve and optimize EMR functionality at our customer sites.
With more than 20 years in healthcare IT, Brian provides deep expertise in healthcare, Oracle Cerner, consulting, account management, sales processes, and customer relationship management. Before joining HPG, Brian worked at Oracle Cerner as both a Solution Architect and Integration Architect.

Kyle Terstriep Senior Resource Development Executive
Kyle joined HPG in 2010 and has contributed to our success in numerous roles, including as a CRM and Social Networking Analyst and Business Development Support Representative. In his current role as Senior Resource Development Executive, Kyle is responsible for recruiting, mentoring, developing and acquiring consulting expertise for HPG, with a deep commitment to our company and culture.

Brandi Golemon, MBA Senior Resource Development Executive and Accountant
Brandi joined HPG in 2010 as an accountant in the finance department. Within the Finance and HR team, she is responsible for processing payroll and providing support to our associates. Her passion for the company and dedication to enhancing employee experience led her to take on a combined role in finance and recruiting. In 2022, she joined the Senior Resource Development team, where she focuses on recruiting, mentoring, and developing consulting talent while acquiring expertise to support HPG’s growth.

Brent Budke Senior Resource Development Executive
Brent joined HPG in 2023. In his current role as Senior Resource Development Executive, Brent is responsible for recruiting, mentoring, developing and acquiring consulting expertise for HPG, with a deep commitment to our company and culture.
